The state of Arkansas has produced yet another top 2017 pitcher prospect. Darci Fountain boast a 62 mph fastball and has reached highs of 66 mph. The Freshman sensation is long. "What's sick is the kid is still developing!" says Martin Poole, Director of Firecrackers DFW, CTX and WTX, who just returned from a visit to SoCal with Tony Rico.

The phenom showed up to Texas last weekend with two pitches - a fastball and a wicked change up. After two games and workouts in between, she drove away with a hard- breaking drop-curve and a rise ball that made an immediate impact. That's talent - a talented rising star who got to work with former University of Texas All-American pitcher, Meagan Denny, during the Sunday Firecrackers Round Robin Showdown. Firecrackers players are used to working out under the guidance of former and current College All-Americans, Olympic Coaches, including current and former college coaching legends. The brand Darci is now a part of translates to the college softball experience. Darci Fountain will step onto a college campus in 2016 ready to lead her team to conference championships.
